Shu has extensive experience in sustainable development and regional cooperation. Previously, he held leadership position at the UNDP Secretariat for Greater Tumen Initiative (GTI), an intergovernmental economic cooperation mechanism between China, Mongolia, Korea and Russian Federation. He was also a journalist and editor at the People’s Daily and a senior manager at Telstra.

Konrad is the former Secretary General of ICLEI (2002-2012), and has guided the development and implementation of ICLEI’s 8 agendas globally. Prior to this he held leading positions at ICLEI Europe, the City of Freiburg, Germany, the Federal Environmental Agency in Berlin, Germany, and the "Black Forest" Environmental Management Project

David is an adjunct professor at Mongolia International University, where he formerly served as Dean of Research and Industry Affairs. In the past, he has also worked as a senior officer and project manager at the UNDP Secretariat for Greater Tumen Initiative (GTI) as well.

Before joining ICLEI, Merlin had 4 years experience working for the Environmental Protection Bureau of Macau SAR, during which he was dedicated in the first ten-year environmental planning of the city and its compliance on international environmental conventions. He has also developed his expertise on GHG accounting and management by working with RESET Carbon Hong Kong, and with other institutes in the UK.

Ge is taking the lead for China relations and partnership development, and supporting the implementation of various ICLEI projects. She is also facilitating the operation and development of the ICLEI Beijing Office.

Kyounggil is a first dispatched from the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and is responsible for office management, governance and human resources. She has 25 years experience working with the Seoul MNetropolitan Government and has been involved in various fields of the city government.

Yvonne is responsible for low-carbon and GHGs mitigation activities.Before joining ICLEI, she took an internship at the Renewable UK Cardiff Office and UNESCAP Incheon Office, and has a four-year experience working with a policy think-tank in Taiwan. Her previous work assignments touched on offshore wind policy analysis, low-carbon city indicators, circular economy, GHGs mitigation policy analysis, and cost-benefit analysis on soil pollution remediation.

Beatrice specialises in sustainable urban mobility and integrated urban system. Before joining ICLEI East Asia, she worked at the ICLEI World Secretariat in implementing sustainable mobility and logistics projects. She also worked at Ramboll Malaysia, consulting multinationals and national governments in the Asia Pacific in sustainability, carbon reporting, climate mitigation and adaptation.

Yu-Ting is responsible for ICLEI East Asia's corporate communications, urban research and knowledge management. She manages various online platforms and social media channels, designs and creates communication products to promote ICLEI's work regionally and globally. She also manages the research and development of ICLEI case studies. Before joining ICLEI East Asia, she worked for a local non-governmental organization in Taipei.

Xuan Xie has gained work experience from diverse sectors in East Asia, Europe, and Latin America. He started his career at UNESCO. He was a sponsored trainee on Man and Biosphere (MaB) Program at UNESCO Montevideo, where he worked on biodiversity conservation, resilience building, and climate change adaptation. He also did internships at UNIDO, Carbon Trust, and Swerock.

Yeajee has academic and work experience in climate change and sustainable development. While studying for an M.A. in Political Science, she joined a training program organized by the Korean Ministry of Environment and had an internship at the UNFCCC Secretariat. After graduation, she has also worked at the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Institute of Forest Science.

Before joining ICLEI, Jingning worked as Project Officer in the government of Shenzhen Guangming Dist. and Nanning Liangqing Dist, where she eveloped expertise in policy research and analysis related to energy, technology and climate change mitigation. She also has experience in governmental investment projects management and administration.

Chuntao comes from Yunnan and was based in the province before joining ICLEI. With 5 years' experience working as non-profit environmental program officer focusing on climate change mitigation and biodiversity conservation, she has also accumulated various experiences in office opertaion and communication. In the ICLEI Beijing Office, Chuntao is responsible for facilitating Chinese cities’ sustainable development through nature-based solutions and promoting urban biodiversity.

Huan is the Program Officer of Resilient Development Pathway. Prior to joining ICLEI Beijing Office, she initiated and led the Community-based Climate Action Program and resilience building in South China at a private environmental foundation for almost four years.
