Al Gore, Mayor of Bonn talk climate action

Today, at the Künst Museum in Bonn, Germany, over 40 mayors and local political leaders from around the world convened for a screening of An Inconvenient Sequel, the latest climate change film from Al Gore, followed by a conversation with the former US Vice President on the state of climate action.

Over 1000 subnational governments take aim on slashing global emissions

1,019 local and regional governments from 86 countries, representing 804 million people, have reported emissions reductions targets to the carbonn Climate Registry (cCR), one of the most widely used subnational climate action reporting systems in the world.

기후변화와 포용적 성장에 대한 국제 컨퍼런스, 서울서 개최

OECD 챔피언 시장이자 이클레이 회장 도시인 서울시는 10월 19-20일에 걸쳐 “제 3회 포용적 성장을 위한 OECD 챔피언 시장 회의"와 “2017 기후변화에 대한 서울 시장 포럼"을 개최했다. 파리, 뉴욕, 도쿄, 테헤란, 상트페테르부르크 등의 도시 대표들과 UNISDR(국제연합 재난위험경감 전략사무국), GCF(녹색기후기금), CCAC(기후청정대기연합) 등의 국제기구를 포함하여 약 300명에 이르는 사람들이 참가하였다.
