EcoMobility Festival 2015 at Johannesburg

Framed as EcoMobility World Festival, the City of Johannesburg in partnership with ICLEI, The Urban Idea and numerous local organizations organized an unprecedented mise-en-scène of future urban mobility options during the month of October 2015. This video gives an overview of the month-long campaign where 75,000 commuters to the Sandton CBD left their cars at home and used public transport, cycled and walked instead.

EcoMobility Festival 2013 at Suwon, South Korea

Documenting a month-long EcoMobility experiment that took place in 2013 in the City of Suwon, South Korea, these videos feature a courageous initiative taken by the city in transforming itself into a car-free neighborhood, where residents opted for ecomobile means of transport such as walking, cycling and passenging.
