Objectives
ICLEI East Asia’s Green and Sustainable Public Procurement program is designed to support local governments and public authorities in the region to:
- Leverage green and sustainable public procurement in achieving climate and environmental targets;
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the national green procurement framework, and develop green and sustainable procurement strategies, policies, and relevant standards based on local needs;
- Exchange experiences via off-line activities and online platforms, and establish solid links with experts in the field to obtain professional advice;
- Showcase the local green and sustainable public procurement achievements by publishing case studies, participating in regional and international events, and the Procura+ Awards.
