Regional Roadmap for Buildings and Construction in China’s Greater Bay Area
Introduction: In collaboration with the German Energy Agency (dena) and the Chinese Academy of Building Research (CABR), ICLEI East Asia supported developing the Regional Roadmap for Building and Construction in China’s Greater Bay Area. This groundbreaking initiative seeks to propel the region’s transition towards low-carbon and resource-efficient buildings and construction sectors.
The Roadmap encompasses expert-reviewed recommendations specifically tailored to eight key activity areas, aligning with the timeline of key climate goals. Additionally, crosscutting recommendations are included to foster collaboration and synergy among key stakeholders.
