As the President of ICLEI, Seoul Mayor Won-soon Park visited the ICLEI East Asia Secretariat on 17 May 2017, to meet the colleagues and further understand the sustainable projects EAS is working on. 

After the visit, ICLEI East Asia joint Mayor Park to attend the 6th Conversation Session of international Organizations and Seoul Metropolitan Government, which representatives of around 30 international organizations based in Seoul attended. As a major representative in the field of environment and urban sustainability, Shu Zhu introduces to the audience on ICLEI East Asia’s activities in the region, particularly on the flagship air quality program East Asia Clean Air Cities (EACAC), a city-to-city collaboration program to combat air pollution in the region through multilateral cooperation between local governments, partners and solution providers.

The audience are also kindly invited by Zhu to attend the 7th Northeast Asia Forum on Air Quality Improvement held in Seoul on 1-2 June 2017, which is jointly organized by ICLEI East Asia and the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The Forum is expected to receive 500 persons from city delegates, experts, businesses and citizens.
